Role : Informatica Developer

Location : Bangalore

- Experience 3-6 years' experience in Informatica

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Customer facing role / position to address ETL developments on Informatica

- Maintenance of existing workflows and participation in projects to implement new workflows / Informatica migration activities.

- Strong experience on development and maintenance on Informatica

- Business Objects Knowledge is a Plus.

- Must be proficient with SQL, PL/SQL and Oracle database

- Unix/Linux Shell scripting is a plus

- Good knowledge in Business Intelligence concepts

- Knowledge on SQL developer, TOAD is a plus

- Good communications skills both written and speaking

Responsibilities :

- Define detailed technical designs (TDD) based on Detailed Functional Specifications (DFS)

- Coding; reviewing; testing and debugging

- Prepare and execute unit test cases

- Performance tuning and trouble shooting

- Ability to think abstractly and suggest solutions

Required Skills :

Skill Proficiency Level Description :

- Informatica 8.x/9.x/10.x High Informatica technical knowledge is a must and should and be able to perform without any guidence

- Informatica Data Quality Low/Medium Hands on experience in IDQ

- Unix/LINUX Low Good working experience on any UNIX/LINUX operating system. (Need not be an expert)

- Database Medium Good understanding of Databases. Working experience on Oracle/MS SQL.

- Data warehouse concepts High/Medium Should have very good knowledge on the concepts as the tasks involve designing new schemas.

- Communication and Customer Engagement High Candidate will be interacting with client.

- Communication skills and accuracy, autonomy, as well as ability to record, report and document are essential.

- Self Starter High Candidate should be self starter and should be able to work independently

- Inclination towards systems administration Low Candidate may or may not have Administration experience. However, he/she needs to have a flare/inclination towards System Administration
