ML Engineer - Job Description

We are looking for machine learning engineers who have hands-on experience with fine-tuning deep learning models, preferably large language models (LLMs).

The role involves extensive application of LLMs to scientific literature (patents and research papers).

You are an ideal candidate if you meet all of these 5 criteria:

- have worked for longer than 6 months at solving a real-world problem using deep learning models

- are comfortable training deep learning models from scratch as well as fine-tuning in Pytorch or Tensorflow

- Understand the internal workings of LLMs at a level where you can explain them to a high school student

- Want to produce world-class AI products

- Can write Python code fluently

Responsibilities :

- Precisely define tasks to be performed by ML models and reason about whether they can be solved with a DL model

- Estimating requirements of training dataset for training an LLM for a well-defined task, deep analysis of the data (manual + automated)

- Model selection based on latency & accuracy requirements of the application

- Write scripts to train or fine-tune language models on proprietary and public datasets

- Analyzing and debugging model training
