Java Full Stack Lead Engineer

Role Overview :

The Java Full Stack Lead Engineer is a senior technical leadership and development role requiring 8+ years in enterprise application development and architecture using a comprehensive stack including Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and JavaScript-based frameworks.

This is a 6-month extendable contract with a Remote work location.

The incumbent must possess a Proven track record delivering end-to-end enterprise projects in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and have mandatory Hands-on experience with AI/ML project delivery and integration into enterprise solutions.

Job Summary :

We are seeking a highly experienced Java Full Stack Lead Engineer (8+ years) with mandatory expertise in Java, Spring Boot, Node.js, and modern JavaScript frameworks (React, Angular, or Vue). The ideal candidate will apply strong design and architecture skills to build highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems in a cloud environment (AWS, Azure, or GCP). Key responsibilities include leading end-to-end project delivery, hands-on integration of AI/ML models into enterprise solutions, utilizing Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools, and demonstrating deep proficiency with microservices, Docker, Kubernetes, and comprehensive unit testing practices.

Key Responsibilities and Technical Deliverables :

Full Stack Architecture and Development Leadership :

- Leverage 8+ years in enterprise application development and architecture to lead the design and implementation of both front-end and back-end services.

- Mandatorily utilize Java, Spring Boot, and Node.js for robust back-end development and Any JavaScript-based framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc.) for the modern UI layer.

- Apply Strong design and architecture skills for developing highly available, scalable, and fault-tolerant systems, advocating for microservices and serverless patterns.

- Provide technical leadership for end-to-end project delivery, ensuring architectural adherence, code quality, and performance targets are met.

Cloud Native Engineering and DevOps :

- Demonstrate a Proven track record delivering end-to-end enterprise projects in cloud environments (AWS, Azure, or GCP).

- Expertise in Cloud architecture patterns, microservices, and serverless computing principles.

- Hands-on proficiency with Docker & Kubernetes for containerization, orchestration, and managing cloud-native deployments.

AI/ML Integration and Modern Tooling :

- Possess Hands-on experience with AI/ML project delivery and integration into enterprise solutions, understanding the requirements for model APIs and inference workflows.

- Demonstrate mandatory proficiency with Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools to accelerate development speed and maintain code standards.

- Implement rigorous testing standards using Unit testing & mocking frameworks (e.g., JUnit, Mockito, Jest) to ensure code quality and system reliability.

Mandatory Skills & Qualifications :

- Experience : 8+ years in enterprise application development and architecture.

- Backend : Java, Spring Boot, Node.js.

- Frontend : Any JavaScript-based framework (React, Angular, Vue, etc.).

- Cloud : Expertise in Cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and Cloud architecture patterns, microservices, serverless computing.

- DevOps : Proficiency with Docker & Kubernetes.

- AI/ML : Mandatory Hands-on experience with AI/ML project delivery and Demonstrated proficiency with Copilot or similar AI-assisted development tools.

- Quality : Expertise in Unit testing & mocking frameworks.

Preferred Skills :

- Experience with cloud security best practices (IAM, network isolation).

- Familiarity with message brokers (e.g., Kafka, RabbitMQ).

- Experience implementing GitOps workflows.

- Certification in a major cloud platform (AWS Certified Developer/Architect, Azure Developer Associate).
