Job Summary :

We are looking for a skilled and proactive DevOps Engineer with strong experience in GitHub Actions, CI/CD tools, and automation scripting. The ideal candidate should have hands-on expertise in DevOps support, infrastructure monitoring, automation, and Atlassian tools. Strong communication skills and the ability to manage incidents and production issues efficiently are critical for success in this role.

Key Roles & Responsibilities :

1. CI/CD Pipeline Support :

- Provide ongoing support for CI/CD pipelines, especially around GitHub Actions, Bamboo, Harness, SonarQube, Artifactory, Veracode, Proget, Nuget, and other DevOps tools.

- Manage and optimize build and deployment processes to ensure high reliability and availability of applications.

2. Scripting & Automation :

- Develop and maintain automation scripts using PowerShell, Python, Bash/Shell to streamline DevOps processes and reduce manual interventions.

- Automate routine administrative tasks to enhance operational efficiency.

3. Incident & Technical Support :

- Monitor and respond to technical incidents using tools like xMatters, Techlines, and JIRA.

- Provide Level 2/3 production support, identify root causes, and resolve technical issues to maintain system uptime and performance.

4. Atlassian Tools Administration :

- Administer Jira, Confluence, Bitbucket, and Bamboo, ensuring proper access controls, workflow configurations, and system performance.

- Support users in configuring and troubleshooting Atlassian applications.

5. Monitoring & Observability :

- Utilize monitoring tools such as Splunk to track application performance, system availability, and proactively identify potential issues.

- Set up and manage alerting, dashboards, and logging configurations to support proactive incident management.

6. Source Code & Version Control :

- Manage and maintain GitHub and Bitbucket repositories, ensuring proper branching strategies, access controls, and code integrity across global teams.

7. Platform Support & System Administration :

- Work across Linux and Windows platforms, performing administrative tasks, deploying applications, and managing databases as needed.

- Support and maintain development, test, and production environments.

8. SLA & Change Management :

- Ensure support activities meet defined SLAs and participate in Incident Management, Change Requests, and JIRA Story tracking.

Required Skills :

- Strong communication and collaboration skills.

- Hands-on expertise in GitHub Actions, CI/CD tools (Bamboo, Harness), and scripting.

- Experience in production support and incident management.

- Deep understanding of observability, monitoring, and logging tools (e.g., Splunk).

- Proficiency with Atlassian tools and administration.
