CS Tech AI - Team Lead - Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning

Salary : 10 to 30 LPA

Position Overview :

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Team Lead to oversee our AI/ML (Artificial Intelligence/Machine Learning) team. The Team Lead will play a critical role in managing and guiding a group of AI/ML engineers and data scientists, while also contributing to the development of cutting-edge AI/ML solutions. The successful candidate will be responsible for setting the technical direction of the team, mentoring team members, and ensuring the successful execution of AI/ML projects.

Preferred Qualifications :

- Bachelor's or Master's degree in Computer Science, Data Science, Machine Learning, or a related field.

- Proven experience (5+years) in AI/ML development and project management.

- Strong expertise in machine learning algorithms, deep learning frameworks (TensorFlow, PyTorch), and data analysis tools (Python, R).

- Previous experience in leading or managing a team of AI/ML professionals.

- Demonstrated ability to deliver AI/ML projects on time and within scope.

- Excellent problem-solving skills and a track record of solving complex AI/ML challenges.

- Strong communication skills to effectively convey technical concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

- Experience with data engineering, data preprocessing, and feature engineering is advantageous.

- Familiarity with cloud platforms (AWS, Azure, Google Cloud) for AI/ML deployment is a plus.

- Relevant certifications in AI/ML or project management are advantageous

Roles and Responsibilities :

- Team Leadership : Provide leadership and guidance to a team of AI/ML engineers and data scientists. Foster a collaborative and innovative team culture. Set clear objectives and performance expectations.

- Technical Direction : Define the technical vision and strategy for AI/ML projects in alignment with business goals. Stay updated on industry trends and emerging technologies in AI/ML.

- Project Management : Manage the execution of AI/ML projects from inception to deployment. Define project scopes, timelines, and resource allocation. Ensure project goals are met on time and within budget.

- Technical Expertise : Contribute actively to AI/ML development efforts. Participate in algorithm development, model training, and data analysis as needed. Lead by example in delivering high-quality code and solutions.

- Mentorship : Provide mentorship and technical guidance to team members. Help team members develop their AI/ML skills, problem-solving abilities, and career growth paths.

- Collaboration : Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including software engineers, data engineers, and domain experts, to gather requirements and integrate AI/ML solutions into products and services.

- Model Selection : Lead the selection of appropriate machine learning algorithms, models, and techniques to solve specific business problems. Ensure the best-fit models are chosen for each project.

- Data Strategy : Oversee data collection, preparation, and feature engineering efforts. Ensure data quality, accuracy, and compliance with privacy regulations.

- Performance Optimization : Work on model performance optimization, scalability, and deployment strategies. Ensure AI/ML solutions are efficient and effective in real-world applications.

- Documentation : Ensure comprehensive documentation of AI/ML models, algorithms, and workflows. Maintain organized records of project artifacts.

- Quality Assurance : Implement best practices for model testing, validation, and monitoring. Develop and enforce data governance and model governance standards.

- Continuous Learning : Stay updated on the latest developments in AI/ML, including new algorithms, tools, and methodologies. Apply this knowledge to improve team capabilities and project outcomes.
