As an AWS DevOps Engineer, you will be a pivotal force in bridging our development and operations teams, focusing on the design, implementation, and maintenance of our cloud infrastructure within the Amazon Web Services (AWS) ecosystem.

Your primary goal will be to enhance operational efficiency, improve system reliability, and accelerate the software delivery lifecycle through automation and best practices. This role requires a strong technical background in cloud computing, infrastructure automation, and CI/CD pipelines, ensuring our systems are secure, scalable, and highly available.

Key Responsibilities :

- Infrastructure Management & Automation : Design, implement, and manage robust and secure AWS infrastructure using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools like Terraform or AWS CloudFormation.

- CI/CD Pipeline Development : Build, maintain, and optimize continuous integration and continuous deployment (CI/CD) pipelines to automate application build, testing, and deployment processes.

- Monitoring & Troubleshooting : Implement comprehensive monitoring, logging, and alerting solutions using tools like Amazon CloudWatch, Prometheus, or Splunk to ensure optimal performance and proactively troubleshoot issues across multiple platforms.

- Containerization & Orchestration : Manage containerized applications using Docker and orchestrate them with Kubernetes or Amazon Elastic Container Service (ECS) to ensure high availability and efficient resource utilization.

- Security & Compliance : Implement and maintain security best practices, including identity and access management (IAM) policies, security group configurations, and automated compliance checks, to protect cloud resources.

- Collaboration & Support : Work closely with software developers, QA, and operations teams to understand requirements, resolve technical problems, and ensure smooth workflows and reliable system performance.

- Cost Optimization : Monitor and optimize AWS costs and performance, recommending and implementing cost-effective solutions.

- Documentation : Create and maintain detailed documentation of technical procedures, system configurations, and infrastructure architecture.

Required Qualifications & Skills :

- Experience : Proven experience (3+ years preferred) in a DevOps Engineer or similar role with a strong focus on AWS.

- Technical Proficiency : In-depth knowledge of core AWS services (EC2, S3, Lambda, RDS, VPC, Route 53, etc.).

- Automation & Scripting : Strong proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or Shell for automating routine tasks.

- Tools : Hands-on experience with relevant DevOps tools including Jenkins, GitLab CI, Terraform, Ansible, Docker, and Kubernetes.

- Education : A Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related technical field, or equivalent practical experience.

- Soft Skills : Excellent problem-solving, troubleshooting, and communication skills, with the ability to work collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
