Automation Test Engineer - Selenium/Appium

Role Summary :

We are looking for a skilled Automation Test Engineer to design, develop, and maintain automated test scripts for web, API, and mobile applications.

The ideal candidate will work closely with development teams to ensure high-quality software delivery, identify defects early, and contribute to continuous improvement in the QA process.

Key Responsibilities :

- Develop and maintain automated test scripts using tools such as Selenium, Appium, Cypress, or similar.

- Execute automated test cases and report defects, tracking them through resolution.

- Collaborate with developers, QA engineers, and product teams to ensure comprehensive test coverage.

- Participate in requirements analysis and design review meetings to understand testable features.

- Develop and maintain test frameworks, reusable test components, and libraries.

- Perform integration, regression, and end-to-end testing using automated approaches.

- Maintain and manage test environments, test data, and tools.

- Analyze test results and provide insights to improve product quality and performance.

- Work within Agile teams, participating in sprint planning, stand-ups, and retrospectives.

- Contribute to the CI/CD pipeline by integrating automated tests for continuous testing.

Required Skills & Experience :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.

- 3+ years of hands-on experience in test automation.

- Strong knowledge of programming/scripting languages like Java, Python, or JavaScript.

- Experience with automation frameworks : Selenium WebDriver, Cypress, Appium, TestNG, JUnit.

- Experience in API testing automation using Postman, Rest Assured, or equivalent.

- Familiarity with CI/CD tools such as Jenkins, Bamboo, GitLab CI/CD.

- Understanding of SDLC, STLC, Agile/Scrum methodologies.

- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills
