We are seeking a highly skilled Ansible Automation Engineer with strong experience in automation, configuration management, and Linux system administration. The ideal candidate will have hands-on expertise in developing and maintaining Ansible playbooks and roles, building custom automation modules, and supporting CI/CD and DevOps initiatives. This role requires strong scripting skills, containerization knowledge, and the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams.

Skill / Qualifications :

- Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, Electronics & Communication, or a related technical field.

- Ansible Automation : 3+ years of experience developing and maintaining playbooks, roles, and automation processes.

- Custom Ansible Modules : 2+ years of experience building custom modules using Python.

- Linux Administration (RHEL/CentOS/Oracle Linux) : 3+ years of hands-on experience with system administration and security practices.

- Podman/Docker Containers : 2+ years of experience with container packaging, deployment, and management.

- Python Scripting : 3+ years of experience developing automation scripts and troubleshooting.

- CI/CD & DevOps Practices, Git : 2+ years of experience working with pipelines, DevOps methodologies, and version control.

Nice-to-Have :

- Kubernetes (K8s) : 2+ years of experience managing Kubernetes clusters and deploying containerized workloads.

Job Responsibilities :

- Design, develop, and maintain Ansible playbooks, roles, and automation workflows.

- Troubleshoot Ansible-related issues and optimize automation processes for performance and reliability.

- Develop custom Ansible modules using Python and integrate them into existing automation frameworks.

- Collaborate with development and operations teams to enhance automation capabilities.

- Perform system administration tasks on RHEL, CentOS, or Oracle Linux environments, including package management, configuration, and security hardening.

- Automate the packaging, deployment, and lifecycle management of Podman or Docker containers.

- Write Python scripts to automate deployment tasks, system processes, and troubleshooting workflows.

- Work with CI/CD pipelines and follow DevOps best practices for continuous integration, deployment, and delivery.

- Manage code repositories using Git CLI, perform version control tasks, and support collaborative development workflows.

- (Optional / Nice-to-have) Deploy and manage workloads on Kubernetes clusters, ensuring scalability, reliability, and adherence to best practices.
