Job Description

We are seeking a detail-oriented and analytical Business Technology Analyst to bridge the gap between business needs and technology solutions. The ideal candidate will work closely with stakeholders to identify business challenges, assess technological solutions, and support the successful implementation of digital initiatives.

Responsibilities :

- Collaborate with the Tech Strategy team to identify and evaluate emerging technologies aligned with the company's fintech operations and long-term growth objectives.

- Conduct structured research, market scans, and vendor evaluations to recommend tools and platforms that address specific business challenges.

- Liaise with cross-functional business units to understand operational pain points and translate them into actionable technology requirements.

- Partner with the Enterprise Architect to assess the alignment of shortlisted tools with enterprise architecture principles, integration feasibility, and long-term sustainability.

- Prepare comprehensive documentation including evaluation matrices, business cases, and technology briefs to facilitate strategic decision-making by leadership.

- Support and coordinate Proof of Concept (PoC) initiatives, working with internal development teams and/or external vendors. Hands-on involvement is advantageous, though not mandatory.

- Monitor and evaluate PoC outcomes, consolidating learnings into clear recommendations for adoption, iteration, or rejection.

- Maintain an internal knowledge repository of evaluated technologies, vendors, and PoC results to support future assessments and strategic planning.

- Collaborate with business units to understand requirements, workflows, and operational challenges.

- Analyze and translate business needs into technical specifications and project requirements.

- Identify opportunities for process improvement through automation and digital tools.

- Monitor and report on the performance of implemented solutions, ensuring continued alignment with business goals.

- Prepare documentation including business cases, process flows, and user guides.

- Communicate with business users in order to interpret requirements for IT groups.

- Analyze and develop plans to improve the quality of the deliverables and processes.

- Maintain system and data integrity during change control and management processes.

- Prepare and present reports to managers, update training material and guides when required.

- Experience and understanding in supporting or delivering Client Analytics solutions, ideally within Wealth Management division (beneficial)

- Able to perform analytical assessment of data-sets and information flows across an extensive range of business types and systems

- Methodical with an analytical approach, paying close attention to detail

- Highly motivated with a pro-active attitude

- Highly organised and efficient with the ability to work well under pressure and meet challenging deadlines

- Knowledge of Systems Development Lifecycle (SDLC), Requirements Management Lifecycle (RMLC), Project Management Lifecycle (PMLC)

Criteria :

- Qualification : MBA (Information Systems) with tech background preferred.

- Understanding of Relational Database / SQL concepts (beneficial)

- Strong communication (oral and written), including ability to clearly formulate positions on issues and articulate solutions

- Self-starter, with a passion for technology solutions

- Ability to work both independently and as a part of a team in a fast-paced client-focused environment

- Experience in business analysis, technology evaluation, or strategy support roles, preferably in Fintech or SaaS.

- Good understanding of AI tools, automation platforms, Cloud services, and enterprise SaaS ecosystems.

- Strong analytical and documentation skills with the ability to convert complex data into executive-level reports.

- Comfortable collaborating across product, engineering, and business teams

- Ability to identify opportunities in new technologies, trends, and changes in the information management and research field.

- 2-5 years of experience as a Business Analyst or in a similar technology-focused role.

- Strong understanding of business processes and IT systems.

- Familiarity with tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Microsoft Office, and data visualization platforms.

- Experience in Agile or Scrum methodologies is preferred.

- Excellent communication, problem-solving, and stakeholder management skills.

Preferred Skills :

- Knowledge of ERP/CRM systems, cloud platforms, or low-code/no-code tools.

- Basic understanding of data analytics, APIs, and system integrations.

- Certifications such as CBAP, CCBA, or Scrum Master are an added advantage.
